National Women's Health and Fitness Day
In case you didn’t know by now, there is such a thing as the National Women’s Health and Fitness Day! Dating back to 2002 when it was first held, it is being celebrated every last Wednesday of September.
This celebration is like a welcome reminder that women (and men) should take extra care of their health and fitness, regardless of age! It is common notion that we are able to do so many things when we are younger, giving us the idea that we are invincible to injuries usually experienced by seniors. What we don’t realize is that what we do when we’re younger and stronger all add up to how we will spend our older days.
